Operation Christmas Child at Grace

And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.  Luke 2:10

Our church family is participating in Operation Christmas Child (OCC) this year!  We hope this small act of love and service on our part will help spread Good News of great joy.

OCC is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organization.  OCC provides local partners around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ.  Samaritan’s Purse ships these simple gifts outside the United States to children affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine, and disease.

How to Participate

Visit the OCC table just past the Library to pick up boxes, labels and instructions for filling the boxes.  All are welcome to participate, and may fill as many shoeboxes as they desire.  Return filled shoeboxes to the sanctuary on Sunday, November 17.  We will pray over the shoeboxes before delivering them to a local OCC collection point.  Please contact Elise Medina with questions.
